Brinley 2 months!

We had Brinley's 2 month appointment yesterday. She was 12 pounds 11ounces which is 93% for her weight. Her head is on the small side though, only in the 10%. and her length was 87%. I wish I could keep her this age for a long time. The last few nights she has slept between 6-7 hours!! I love my sweet baby girl!

Brinley's Blessing!

Brinley was Blessed last Sunday! She was asleep through the whole thing. We were glad to have so many of our friends and family there. Derek's parents were even there from New Mexico!

Brinley 8 Weeks Already??

Wow!! I wish pregnancy went by as fast as time goes by with a new baby. Brinley is 8 weeks old tomorrow. She is such a wonderful addition to our family!! The first 5 weeks of Brinley's life were an adventure to say the least. She screamed alot and never wanted to be put down. I knew that she had silent reflux, but was just waiting for her next doctors appointment to do something about it. She had to go into the doctor for a kidney ultrasound when she was 5 weeks old so when the Doctor called to tell me the results (they want to continue to monitor her kidneys because one is slightly larger than the other) I asked if she could trial some reflux medicine and see if it would solve her constant fussing and crying. With in just a few days she was a completely new baby. She really almost never cries anymore. She sleeps great and is such a happy baby. She started smiling last week and it just melts my heart. I have to go back to work next week and it is going to be so hard to leave my baby for the night :(
