Revlon product review what do you think?

I frequently get free things in the mail to trial and review. Lexi decided that she wanted her turn to trial and review a product! So she got into my makeup drawer and decided to trial this Revlon color stay lip gloss. The funny thing is, is that I don't think a single drop landed on her lips. As for the color I think it goes nice with her skin tone and for the lasting effect it took 3 DAYS for us to get it off her face. That is some long lasting lip gloss. She was so proud of herself I couldn't help but laugh!

Our Growing Little Peanut!

Baby number 3 is on their way. It is official! I went to the doctor today for my first appointment. I have been feeling extremely nauseated this pregnancy everything sounds bad, I am throwing up, and I have been losing weight. The last few days I have been feeling a little better. This can be a bad sign so I had the doctor do an ultrasound to make sure the baby is doing OK. She had trouble finding my uterus so she sent me to have an official ultrasound in the X-ray department. And low and behold there our peanut was! We are so excited for this new addition to our family coming the end of November!

The Zoo!

The sun finally came out on a Saturday and we were off to the zoo. Little did we know that the whole city thought the same thing. It was packed! We still had fun and bought a zoo pass so that anything that was to crowded for us to see we could come back another time and see!

My Girls!

Wow how time moves by so quickly. A few months ago the girls got dressed and wanted to take some pictures, so here they are. Kylie is now 4 1/2 and will be starting Kindergarden this fall. That can up all too quickly. She is working on reading and reads several words now. She also loves to do math. Her latest excitement is the discovery of the calculator. She is always asking me, "Mommy what do you want me to add on the calculator." She has also had a big accomplishment the last few week. She has stopped sucking her thumb. I know she is pretty old to just be quiting that bad habit, but I didn't know it would be that easy. We finally sent her favorite teddy bear to "Sucking Thumb Land". As soon as she didn't get to sleep with her bear she stopped that night and I have not seen her suck her thumb since.
Lexi is now 2 1/2 and is finally starting to talk clearly. She has been kind of a late bloomer in talking, but we have been working with her and she is now saying not just words, but sentences. Her favorite phrase right now is "Momma slow down, too fast! Momma slow down, too fast!" I think that she got this one from me, because I am always telling Derek to drive slower. She is only satisfied when I am completely stopped! She is very ambitious! She will just go and get herself a snack when she is hungry and she dresses herself every morning . She is even been self motivated in potty training. She will just run to the bathroom and go without being told and I have not even been pushing it at all.
Posted by PicasaI love both my girls very much and am grateful to be able to learn so much from them. Though there are definitely days that I want to scream(well sometimes I do) they are so much of the joy in my life!

A day of Winter Wonderland!

Well, I am still a little behind so here are more pictures from "catching up". We had a evening of snow a few weeks ago. It was beautiful. I have never seen snow flakes soo big. Well, we had to go out and enjoy it while it lasted. Kylie loves the snow. She ready likes to eat it! We had been planning a trip to the mountain to play in the snow later that week. We were glad that the snow came to us instead. Lexi enjoyed it for the first 10 minutes or so and then was cold and wanted to go inside. It was so much fun and was gone by the next day so we could get around town. No winter is complete without at least a little snow!

Catching up!

OUR TRIP TO THE PUMPKIN PATCH!

Kylie's Preschool class (with Auntie Heidi) went to the pumpkin patch. The kids had lots of fun. There was a hay maze, a petting zoo, climbing the haystack, and a hayride to the field to pick your pumpkin. The outing went relatively well until the picking of the pumpkin. Kylie was hunting around for a long time for the perfect pumpkin and Lexi was trying to run away in the huge field. I finally chased Lexi down. She was so mad she sat down on the ground and started rubbing dirt all over her face!

HALLOWEEN!

LEXI TURNED TWO!

My baby is now TWO! She has grow way to fast! Lexi adds a lot of personality to our home. She is all about learning and has a strong determination to do things herself. She is a smiley happy girl and she and her sister have become such good friends. They play well together and love making each other laugh! Her favorite words are "OH!" and "WHY?". She also will just randomly run up to Derek and I and give us a great big bear hug that melts your heart! We love you Lexi!
