Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's!

Grandma and Grandpa have a wonderful pool that we get to enjoy while we visit them. The girls both worked on learning to swim while we were there. This is one of those things that Derek and I want our children to learn as soon as possible. Kylie was doing great she could almost stay afloat without her floaties when she swam to me. Lexi was really good at holding her breath when she went underwater. I think with a little more practice the will be swimming in no time!

Cooking with Grandma!

We took a trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house in New Mexico. It was quit an adventure to say the least. Actually we had a blast! There were only a couple of incidents and both were while driving to and from New Mexico. On the way down we had a flat tire and on the way home we had a sick kid throwing up in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully that was all the problems that we encountered with four 12 hour days of driving. We were so glad to see so many family members on this trip. Many of them we have not seen in years. We were able to go see both my grandparents, our good friends Rylie and Steven, most of Derek's family, and we even took a trip down memory lane and visited Rexburg where Derek and I met. There was alot of sun, swimming, food, and games. We are glad to finally be home, but do miss everyone!

Summer Fun!

No summer is complete without a little swimming pool. We had to upgrade to a bigger pool this year one because our other one had a huge hole in it and second because the girls were getting too big for it. When it finally got hot enough to go swimming the girls would ask everyday, "Can we go swimming yet!" Lexi lips would turn purple after several hours playing in the pool and I still had to drag her out kicking and screaming when it was time to go inside. Lexi is my little water baby!

We're going to the zoo zoo zoo!

Derek had a day off of work so we headed to the zoo for a day of fun. Luckly we have a zoo pass because we were not there very long before it started to rain.
